So the Yankees got Eric Hinske for a bag of baseballs. This is a meh move. Apparently he will fill in at 3rd when A-Rod rests, and will play wherever else when needed. Fine, sure.

Morgan: I got traded too. Hinske: Nyjer, please. Morgan: I told you that's NOT FUNNY.

The Yankees fan interwebs were ablaze with people in uproar… “Aaaah, what is Cashman doing?” and “Aaah, not another Pirate.” Relax.

The trade for Eric Hinske is NOT THAT SERIOUS. If it works out, fine. If not, we traded Sir Rawlings and Lord Mizuno, so who gives a crap.
